Introduction

The ACRE+ mobile application is developed by TOPGNSS. This Privacy Policy explains what information the application processes and how it is used.

Important: TOPGNSS does not operate its own servers and does not receive or store your field data on company servers. Most data stays on your device.

Information Stored on Your Device

The Application stores the following data locally on your device:

Saved fields and routes (KML files) — coordinates, names, measurements
Application settings — units (acres/hectares), map colors, theme, backup preferences
Google account session (optional) — if you sign in: display name, email address, and profile photo URL are saved locally to keep you signed in. We do not send this to TOPGNSS servers.

Optional Cloud Backup (Google Drive)

Premium users may back up data to their own Google Drive account:

Backup is initiated only by you (manual or scheduled in app settings)
A single file ACREPlus_backup.zip is stored in your Google Drive and replaced on each new backup
The file contains your local fields and app settings
TOPGNSS does not have access to your Google Drive; storage is governed by Google's Privacy Policy

Subscriptions

ACRE+ Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store payment card details. Purchase history and billing are handled by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Location Data

With your permission, the Application accesses GPS location only on your device to:

Show your position on the map
Measure fields by walking (GPS tracking mode)

Location is not sent to TOPGNSS servers. Google Maps may process location data according to Google's policies when maps are loaded.

Permissions

Location — map display and field measurement
Internet — Google Maps, Google Sign-In, Google Drive backup, Google Play Billing
Storage — saving KML files and local backups to Downloads

Third-Party Services

Google Maps Platform — map display
Google Sign-In — optional account sign-in
Google Drive API — optional backup to your Drive (scope: access only to files created by the app)
Google Play Billing — in-app subscriptions

Each service is governed by Google's respective terms and privacy policies.

Sharing Data

You may export or share KML files using the Android "Share" feature. You choose the recipient app; TOPGNSS does not control that transfer.

Data Security and Deletion

Field data remains on your device unless you delete it or use backup/share features
Uninstalling the app removes local app data from the device
To remove a Google Drive backup, delete ACREPlus_backup.zip from your Drive
Sign out in Settings to clear the local Google session

Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version.
